ID Card 11cm x 5.5cm, Proxmark3 v4.01 can't detect tag

Hello Proxmark community,

I recently purchased Proxmark3 v4.01 and tried to read my ID card, but unsuccessfully.

The only tag that is scanned was Indala (looks like false reading as there is always a different ID scanned.

The card looks like an extended CR100 ID card (11cm x 5.5cm).

What are the next steps? Can I try something else?

are you running latest source on your proxmark3?

Yes, the latest source for RDV4 (rdv4-20230527-328e5461f8896f1a26295dc5fe573cbdc5e81549).

I did pm3-flash-fullimage then pm3-flash-bootrom, but then code failed on pm3-flash-all as it complains:
[!] Using pm3-flash-all on an oudated bootloader, use pm3-flash-bootrom first!
Press any key to continue . . .

Anyhow, I ignored this message and when I start pm3 and type "hw status" this message appears:

Smart card module (ISO 7816)
[#]   version................. v3.10
[#]     Outdated firmware. Please upgrade to v4.x or above.

Follow the instructions on the repo on how to flash the sim module.

I did follow this video before.
At 2:43 instruction says "Make sure that Smart Card module is at least 3.11", but my version is 3.10 and I don't know how to update it.
What is this Smart Card module? Does it affect reading capabilities?

For the first use it is necessary to follow this documentation. It is in pm3/doc/md/use_of_proxmark/configuration_and_verification.md
Hello, try smart -h
smart upgrade -h
smart upgrade -f sim013.bin
hw status
After you can follow the video for upgrade to smart 4.13

Agree, fazer. Do you have a link for the specific documentation you referred me to?

On the other hand, I am still unable to read my card. v4.01 does not recognize it most of the time and only sometimes I get (most probably) some false positives.

Is there a way to proceed from here?

I got the following suggestion for possible card types based on the provided dimensions (11cm x 5.4cm) and considering long-range RFID cards:

* UHF (860-960 MHz)
* ISO 18000-6C Cards
* EPC Class 1 Gen 2 Cards
* Active RFID Cards (this is not the case, my one has no battery)

Do any of the above ring the bell? Any help in reading would be appreciated.

Hello Knyazs, look already in /pm3/doc/md there are quite a few things to start with, then there are two sliders slider on antenna LF 125 F 134 & 14 Q 7 try to change the values 14 Q 7 & frequency 125khz .
Launch the cmd auto also to have a bigger scan.
If you know the ref of your card, you need the doc of this card.
