Proxmark3 RDV not recognised on Razer Win10 PC

I have 3 Elechouse RDV Promark and none are recognised by the windows.
Windows control panel says "Unknown USB Device(device descriptor failed).
I have successfully reflashed 2 of them using a Jlink.
I have downloaded the latest repository to a Virtual Box and successfully generated the latest recovery files which I programmed to the RDVs.
I am building the wrong image?
Thanks in advance

Probably. I do assume you are trying to flash the RRG repo, in that case you need to compile for a generic pm3. See https://github.com/RfidResearchGroup/pr … d#platform

Inexperienced Windows user can also use the precompiled images at https://www.proxmarkbuilds.org/

Usually, you don’t need to use a Jlink, even if your proxmark is not recognized. You can use the button method:
1. Disconnect your Proxmark3
2. Hold down the button on your Proxmark3 and connect it to your PC
3. Continue to hold the button and run pm3-flash-bootrom
4. After successful flashing your Proxmark3 should now have a COM port, run pm3-flash-fullimage to finish.

Thanks, I managed to recover the boards using the correct image.
I had to just the bootloader first using the jlink, and then the hold button method.
