How to confirm a card is really a Mifare Classic Mini / S20 Gen1a?

If you go shopping for blank cards, the S20 are more expensive. As I learned now from this forum, you can also use S70 7b UID cards, they are not much cheaper.

The cards are sold on Ali Express by Shop2957122 as: Gen2 UID Changeable MIFARE Mini 0.3k S20

However, the card that they sent me look like regular S50 Gen1a to me, but it could be due to the SAK that is set?

[+] Magic capabilities : Gen 1a

hf mf dump --4k would dump the first 16 sectors, everything after that in the file is zero. Sounds to me like a mundane 1k Gen1a and therefore a rip off.

Also hf mf restore was not able to write block 0, so not a Gen2 card.

Were these conclusive tests or could I do better? how?

It seems to be general S50 card. not S20 card. if the card is S20 card, the SAK = 09. We have some  S20 UID card on sale.
