Proxmark 3 RDV 4 has a very compact build, but I need to flash bootloader. Since I bricked the first edition of Proxmark by flashing bootloader twice and had to unbrick it with JTAG, I would very much like to have a JTAG connection before flashing new bootloader to RDV4.
Unfortunately, the space there is very limited, the connector pitch is very small, so pogo pins won't fit as a temporary connector.
Anyone has a good idea how to put/solder a JTAG connector to RDV4 without breaking the ability to close the case (so that connector doesn't stick out or block closing the case)?

You could try something like this

Thanks, that looks great. Might even work one other device that seems to have the same JTAG connector pitch.
You mean like

Nope, what I was asking for is the pinout of the flashing-tool/jtag-adapter ( https://github.com/RfidResearchGroup/pr … wiki/Tools ) so one can attach the bus pirate to the pins of the Jlink-connector-port. I guess that should be possible right?
Good evening, there are tools designed for the jtag of rdv4. Indeed there are other procedures but there you have to adapt the tools for. Given the troubles that can cause a bad connection, there is not much room for eventually solder pins. I opted for the material. Now with a little patience & a good welding machine why not.
Good night.
