For a while I used an older firmware that came with the proxmark3 and I never bothered to upgrade it. It worked fine when writing HID tags and some others. Ever since I upgraded to the latest firmware its been very difficult to write to tags.
When running the "lf hid clone XXXXXXXX" command, for example, I typically have to spam the command over and over again so I can get a Write. With the older firmware it would just take me one try, with the new one it takes sometimes 20-30 times of sending the command so that it finally writes.
Anyone else experiencing this? Is there any setting I need to change for it to write as reliably as before?
This is the version im using:

do you remember which version of the firmware you had which had better LF support?
I am not sure, I bought it from Rysc in March 2016 and I believe the firmware was from late 2015. So I think 2.2.
Thanks
