We_Chat_Image_20170508170204.jpg

Anyone has any solution to test what chip is this?

I tested on proxmark3. No response at all.

According to the user, it was used in some heater part in Australia. (maybe smart home i am guessing)

Please let me know if any of you guys have any solution.

Yea looks like them. I went to my other supplier place to test them with a KD900 and CN900Mini. No response at all.

If anyone has any solution to identify them, please shoot them below. My client wants 6000 of this chip if I am able to crack them. =X

Re: Unknown Chip

If it is indeed the ID48 Tag you are going to have to shell out some dosh on a decent automotive cloning machine like the Slica RW4 Plus to copy them, If you know the vehicle details for the chip you can call Technical Tony at Davenport and he will point you in the right direction for kit you need.
He is very friendly.

Well. I try with all the automotive devices. It didnt work out as fine as i think it would.

My best bet is still getting an oscilloscope to test. Wonder where i can get them in Shenzhen, China.

Re: Unknown Chip

does the tag draw power from the pm3 antenna on LF or HF?  (hw tune with tag off then tag on and compare.)

Re: Unknown Chip

(with capsule on)

Measuring antenna characteristics, please wait......
# LF antenna: 40.70 V @   125.00 kHz
# LF antenna: 23.93 V @   134.00 kHz
# LF optimal: 41.39 V @   126.32 kHz
# HF antenna: 26.91 V @    13.56 MHz
Displaying LF tuning graph. Divisor 89 is 134khz, 95 is 125khz.

(With capsule off)

Measuring antenna characteristics, please wait......
# LF antenna: 44.27 V @   125.00 kHz
# LF antenna: 24.20 V @   134.00 kHz
# LF optimal: 44.83 V @   126.32 kHz
# HF antenna: 26.91 V @    13.56 MHz
Displaying LF tuning graph. Divisor 89 is 134khz, 95 is 125khz.

Indeed brilliant way to test it. So I guess I can conclude it is an LF capsule. What's next?

Re: Unknown Chip

any news on this one Dot.com? the antenna has reacted so definitely it has to be LF, is it @Marshmellow?

Asking because I saw one more type of micro thing like this a HID chip UHV. If that was that a UHF chip, the antenna would not show any reaction, correct?

Re: Unknown Chip

probably a 134 since it does react to the method that Marsh suggested but cannot be detected by the 125khz command.

We are still trying to look into it.

Will update once i got more news.
